The first of a set of three Wastwater images the day after a quite serious autumn flood. The weather changed dramatically and sunshine appeared, lighting up the screes. I worked in ink and dry coloured pencil as usual, building up the foreground and fitting the striking rock formations in wherever they were visible. I used mostly Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils for this series, with a few touches of Tombow Irojiten Fluorescents to add sparkle.
