Only one word for this painting Graham----- MAGIC---- brilliant sky

Really interesting view with the converging roads. Such a lovely feeling of light and the town nestling amongst the heather clad mountains. Another super painting. P.S. I know Crieff well as my father used to visit the Crieff Hydro. Have you gathered by now that I am a Scot - born in Prestwick!

Thanks Charles and Thea for you kind comments, and Thea I have guessed you must be Scot-born from some of your previous comments about some of my scottish landscape scenes, This particular scene was suggested by the owner of a small gallery in Crieff which occasionally sells some of my paintings and they wanted a local scene, and luckily someone must have liked it as it was sold quite soon after going on display.

Agree with Thea and Charles, it's brilliant! Love the way the eye is instantly drawn to the charming old houses. It's so very well done.

Bit of a departure for me from my usual landscapes, this is looking towards Glen Turret from Comrie Street in Crieff and thought it made quite an interesting composition of the scene
