Lovely painting (again!) of my old stomping ground ..... what hill??? - a gentle incline (at least when we were young!)

A lovely piece of watercolour!

Gorgeous again Graham, your trees are always so well done.

Thanks Ann, Ruth and Fiona for taking the time to view and comment on this watercolour it is as always appreciated by myself and Ann the " what hill" !!! seemed like a stiff climb for me after walking from Dollar about 2 miles away, but as you say and I agree that sometimes it seems nothtng when you are younger, (but not now I am afraid for myself !!!!!) :)

It was worth the climbing, Graham. This is stunning, amazing colours on the trees! Perfect sunlight on the Castle!

It was worth the climb Graham this is so lovely, the different trees are amazing !

I love this place and the painting is very good too.

This is fab Graham --- Brilliant rendering of the trees taking you the focal point ,the castle. Your best I think

Thanks Mia, Denise, Siv and Charles for you very kind and comments, always appreciate what other artists think about a completed piece.

Castle Campbell originally known as Casle Gloom built in the 15th Century, I was commissioned to paint this old castle some time ago and my memory is mainly of the climb to get up the hill to have this view , will NOT be doing that again in a hurry !!!
