These roses are beautiful. I have been given Oil paints but haven't mustered the courage to use them - your work is beautiful, especially the green leaves, seeing what can be achieved, perhaps I'll have a go!

A lovely painting of a lovely rose. I have recently finished and posted a Pink Rose in oils using the 7 layer "Flemish" method. Do try oils Brenda, you won't regret it, promise.

Although I've been painting for over thirty years using just about every medium there is except acrylic, and many different subjects I prefer to paint in oil, and love to paint flowers, but most of all 'Roses', usually in a botanical but not too structured style.
