Thanks everyone for commenting. Jenny, I think this may have worked well as a linoprint and I was torn between the two mediums.

Self portrait for our art club's February challenge which is "Blue". I simplified the original photo to three shades of blue plus white. Surprising how speedily this came together due to not having to worry about colour mixing. Gouache on cartridge paper (which turned out to be too thin for the job) 21x21cm.
