Lovely work Fiona

This is a delightful sketch Fiona, a superb composition and with lots of interest, really well done.

This is the view of the abbey i have seen in Seago's work. Interesting that you have left part of it just with the pen drawing. The sky and background work very well as a backdrop to the abbey. Perhaps the foreground reeds are a little strong? But a good lively work.

I would be very happy with a result like this Fiona! The sky washes and the pond are my favourite bits :)

Can't see what went wrong with this Fiona - it looks really good to me. I really alike the combination of the strong pen lines and the restrained watercolour.

You&#39;re very kind Mia but there are lots of things; the ink from the tower bled into the sky so covered that by adding a cloud formation, the willow trees are far too small, should be much larger, the reeds are over done......I could go on!!lol Thank you for your encouragement.
