I haven't achieved your lovely soft wet in wet washes Stephen, I must practise that particular feature more, and the trees are a bit rushed as well.

Nice one Fiona, loose and confident despite you finding fault with it... Ron did a demo for our art group back in the early 90's I think it was, tremendous character and his enthusiasm is infectious.

Great contrasts and good determined marks which really bring the foreground trees out Fiona.

I think this is super Fiona, can't understand why you are always so hard on yourself. The pine trees on the right are much more like Ron's original, mine are more like deciduous ones. As Carole has said you have created a good feeling of depth between the foreground and background trees.

Your style shows through in this one Fiona. It will be interesting to look at your earlier one. It was his painting video that got me back into art. A very talented fella as you are too Fiona. ( not a fella though!!!)
