Magical time and wasn't he amazing

Some of seago's work look fairly simple until you try to copy them! I especially like how you have painted the stream and reflections, well done.

An interesting exercise Fiona and it's worked well.

This limited palette has worked so well here, some really nice brush work also Fiona, I love it.

Nice one Fiona! A lovely sense of calmness and quiet in this scene.

I've only recently caught up with Ted Seago's work through the enthusiasm of Ron Ranson. This is so reminiscent of his style. Love it.

Simple but very effective, Fiona. I like the brush strokes on the trees and the soft background.

wow Amazing Painting Fiona, I love your work :)

Beautiful background diffusion a lovely painting , Seago was a genius

I have yet to catch up with Seago although heard much of him. This lovely simple but effective and descriptive piece inspires me to seek further

This is just so beautiful, Fiona! Full of atmospheric mystery created certainly by the limited palette and a lovely hand.

You do these landscapes so well, love it.

And what a credit to Seago! Beautifully done, Fiona! These scenes are much harder to paint than they look. Kudos to you!

Many thanks for your lovely comments on my attempt at a Seago painting, you are all very kind. Thank you.

A beauty Fiona, love the almost monochrome painting.

Thank you very much Carole.

Wonderful brushwork and use of a limited palette

Thanks Lesley, much appreciated.

I recognise this, Fiona! I attempted his painting a little while ago. It was much more difficult than I thought it would be. You have done a lovely job on it. Simple, understated, full of atmosphere. Lovely!

A lovely winter scene Fiona.

"Fiona, you have enviable talent !"

Thank you so much Jennifer, Chandra and Michael, much appreciated.

24" x 16" Arches paper, Old Holland watercolours: U. marine, B. umber and R, sienna. I've had a lovely time doing one of my favourite paintings of Seago's this afternoon. I think it's the simplicity of it that attracts me, and the lack of colour.
