Super sketch, Fiona.

This is a lovely sketch Fiona, she's very elegant!

Nice lively sketch Fiona.

Glad she retained her watsits after the winter.!

Excellent sketch Fiona

Lovely flowing lines to this sketch, Fiona, creating an elegance and fluidity from top to bottom. That's a tricky manoeuvre and one that works very well. Brian

Wow Fiona she's a beauty! A fab sketch, you must have a wonderful garden!

Looks fine to me Fiona, re-work the head if it's too small. I've done my three for the competition, this is a good contender.

Nice one Fiona...she lovely!

Lovely drawing Fiona, like the way you have got all the curves in, I don't think the head is too small, the head of my statue Estimate looked small to me but that's exactly how it looked on the sculpture so get it entered 😁😁😁

A lovely sketch, Fiona.

Great sketch, Fiona, lovely flow to it...think you're being too hard on yourself, but I'm no judge

Very goo and excellent shadowing.

Poor Tryphena it must have been a hard winter for her this year, she'll be looking forward to spring/summer :) Great sketch Fiona.

Thank you Seth! She is Jenny, deserves a better spot really, than in amongst the ferns but she’s a heavy lass so she will stay were she is. Thanks Jenny. Thank you very much Sylvia. Only just Tony, her and me both! Lol thanks! Dermot, thank you x You’re very kind Brian thank you very much. Thanks very much Margaret, it pleases me very much but it’s still a young garden and I’m impatient. It’s a bit of an obsession to be honest, I don’t get very much time to paint this time of year. Re-work it Alan? You know I won’t....lol. I’ll try and find a third entry, I’m a bit short of subjects in this backwood. Thank you. Thanks Sylvia..x

I think I will Linda, the competition is too high for it to do well, there are some fabulous entries, yours amongst them. Thank you for your encouragement. Ellen, Sandra, Thalia, Richard thank you all very much! Val, I bet you’re sick of the damp and cold as well, there’s still a bitter wind here. I think we’re all looking forward to a bit of warmth....even Tryphena.

Lovely sketch Fiona, love the shading

Sketchbook & pencil. Tryphena spends her summer days nestled amongst the ferns in the garden, which are just unfurling.......in the winter, she freezes her watsits off like the rest of us! I did intend to enter it in the sketching competition but her head is far too small. Might have another go if.....we have another day of sunshine this year! Lol
