How are you finding the oils Fiona? I like the colours and grey sky and although I'm undecided about the blue outline it does add that certain something. Bold and different so well done. Painting is all about trying different things for me so admire you for doing so. I'm interested as well to see where you go with this one! Actually, you could have continued the blue outline along the top of the wall..maybe? So many decisions!

Really like this version, Fiona, lovely textures and colours - and I especially like the blue outline which gives a nice bold effect. (Like Louise, I wondered if this could perhaps have been introduced in a few places along the top of the wall as well?)

Thank you Mia! Thanks Linda, I have nothing to base it on colour and tone wise, other than the pencil sketch I did. Haven’t got much of an imagination to make anything of it. Thanks Margaret! I quite like using oils Louise but I only really have time to spend on them in the winter. I didn’t want to make too much of the wall in case it split the painting in half, that’s why I’ve kept it neutral in colour. I’m working on take two! It’s different again! Can't decide which version I prefer Fiona they are all so good.
