You've produced some interesting work along the way Fiona, from pencil sketches to this finished oil which I commented on earlier. The success of the project lies in the fact that you have got out and about sourcing your material, not sat in a warm studio sifting through books for inspiration. Well done.

Thank you ever so much everyone for your patience and perseverance. You are all kind and supportive folk and I appreciate it very much, gives me the confidence to do better. I may go back to some of the other stuff that I collected along the way, I think some of the pencil sketches I can work from and because they are on the doorstep I can visit when I like......as long as it isn’t too cold! Thank you again.

You deserve a rest now Fiona and a sense of satisfaction for producing all this work.

My head is still buzzing with ideas Marjorie but I’m going to head off in another direction for a while. Thank you very much.

My, you have been busy Fiona. Sorry I've not kept up with your recent project. Not been on here much the last month. I can see it's paid dividends. It'll be interesting to see which direction you go now. Happy Christmas and a productive new year.

I'm interested to see where this goes now. You'll have picked up a lot of different painting techniques and I know you'll take them further now. Very well done Fiona..top marks to you!

The journey has been the best part Dennis, I think I found something along the way, thank you. Thanks very much Pete, yes your absence has been noted...lol. Have a wonderful Christmas yourself. Thank you Louise! I’ve explored all different ways of expression with a mix of mediums and have enjoyed the experience but most of all, I feel something has changed, or, clicked into place....if that makes sense. A kind of carefreeness, if you like, especially my attitude towards my own work. So I hope to keep that going. It’s feels like a turning point. Many thanks Chris, David, Gudrun for your positive comments.
