I do like this - I have tried it with different colours of mountboard with similar effects.

It's a good idea trying the board, and this is quite spectacular, love the ghost coming out of the fir tree.

This is quite interesting Fiona.. I Love it :)

Thank YOU Michael for introducing me to this technique, it's fun.

Thanks Alan, I should have called this 'winter ghost'.

Many thanks Maria!

Yes and they are so interesting every time

Gives some great abstracts, this is outa this world Fiona.

Great result Fiona, I've been fiddling about with this technique all afternoon, I can't tell you how much paper I've wasted and still not produced anything I'm happy with. Tomorrow's another day!

Many thanks Dennis ,Carole, Christine! Me too Christine, the paper recycling box is almost to the brim!lol

How different they all are! Yours is really lovely Fiona and I like the idea of black board. I have been wasting good quality watercolour paper! Have to go to buy something cheaper soon.

Like Helen I need to try acetate as I've broken my glass! Good one Fiona, I like the effect on the dark background.

Helen, Val, I think that will do just as well, it seems as long as you can achieve that seal it will work. I would think applying the paint on to your kitchen work top and placing something on top that will create the vacum will do the trick. I'll try it and let you know. Thanks for looking.

Spooky and ghostly feel to this one, Fiona - I saw the white shapes on the left as fingers - don't know why but that's what it suggested to me. I like this style a lot.

I think you will enjoy the uncertainty of it Thea if you have a go at it. It doesn't work that well on the work top I tried and failed. Thanks for your comment.

Oh, I love the way the shapes and spaces interact on this one, Fiona! It's fabulous!

Thank you Seok, you are very kind!

Fabulous. These types of prints look deceptively easy to produce, but I am sure they are not.

Are you catching up by any chance Gudrun...lol. Thank you.

White and purple acrylic on black mount board 14" x 11". I've really enjoyed playing about with this idea, each one is a surprise!
