A good start Fiona… I like the overlaying of different tones and prominent brush marks. Background needed a bit more work I feel…not a lot but perhaps a few lines or something! Keep it going…

10”x10” oil on paper. I haven’t used oils for about seven months, and I can tell! I thought the best way to start again was to just go for it, not worry about accuracy etc. A quick sketch of a few well past their sell by date Tangerines, which are in an even worse state, as they kept falling on the floor.
