Sylvia, Margaret, Mia thanks very much for your feedback. Any ideas, criticism etc are welcome. From the initial sketches up until what I did yesterday in class, the ideas have evolved into a final image......at last. This image, which I will post last of all will be drawn up on to a canvas, ready for the new term in January, to paint in oils. Thanks again ladies.

This has worked really well, Fiona, interesting composition and colours, and the clingfilmed background sets it off nicely - so different to your usual style! (I don’t recognise any car bits in it!)

John you can say that again! Lol. It took me two hours to work out which way the two crescent shapes would look the most pleasing....TWO HOURS! Thank you very much for your comment and understanding. It isn’t easy this abstract lark!

I find this fascinating Fiona and although I'm not particular fan of abstract I do find this appealing. You didn't happen to find an old Ford fiesta clutch at the scrap heap I suppose? Mine died on me 10days ago and am still waiting for it to be repaired!!

Oh no Carol, hope you get it fixed soon. If you have no luck with your garage let me know and I’ll see what I can dig out of the scrap pile. I might have to draw it before I send it though....lol. Thank you for your kind words, even though I’m not a fan myself, the idea is growing on me.
