Great tumbling water. As someone who just can't get to grips with water at all, I think you have cracked it here. Love your colour choices as well.

Thank you Thea.

Fiona, there's a lovely freeness about this. I like how you have kept it simple - in that it is similar to a Japanese pen & wash but you have made it your own. Brilliant - well done.

Oh - and loads of movement too - has everthing really!

everything - (sorry about the typo)

Beautifully spontaneous and vibrant. It's lovely.

Thank you Jamie, Seok your comments are appreciated.

I agree with all the above comments. Jamie said it so well: its great, Fiona!

Thank you Mia, very much appreciated.

Fiona Your pen and was sketches are quite evocative Paul Phipps has/had a pottery studio on the outskirts of Lochinver - may be retired now but I don't think so. We went to Bell Baxter High School in Cupar Fife and Dundee ( Duncan of Jordanstone ) Art College in the late 60's I have lost touch with him now but I am surprised you didn't come across his place given you have obviously spent some time in the Lochinver area (from your work ).

There is a path along the bank of the Inver, there are many twists and turns it's difficult to choose which part to sketch.
