Well, THAT'S a bit special! It's all wonderful, but the painting of the water in particular just makes it live.

Absolutely fantastic. The colours and textures are so believable you could actually be there.

What a wonderful place to have lunch, a beautiful painting.

A superb painting Dympna, the reflections are particularly well painted.

Fantastic and couldn't agree more with Robert. The water is truly amaxzing.

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments. Have been finishing it recently and had mixed feelings about it. Not sure if it was working or not.

That is superb and I love how you have painted the reflections in the water.

Lovely painting

Excellent painting Dympna, you have handled a quite complicated subject very well!

Absolutely beautiful, love everything about it,

Lovely reflections and painting, Dympna.

The water looks really wet. Very effective.

Stunning painting of a beautiful place

Great painting Dympna and I like the way you’ve captured the trees. I know the area well and it’s full of potential scenes.

Missed this Dympna. Gorgeous peaceful scene and superb water and reflections. Makes one want to dive in to escape the 40 degC heat! The conical white cloud formation adds to the picture - almost looks like a snowy peak …. now if that’s not evidence of climate change I don’t know what is!

Beautifully observed and painted- A fabulous painting Dympna.

I really appreciate all the supported comments - thank you.

Lovely feeling of peace and light and the water flowing. It's so hard to paint the reflections on water but you've done it beautifully.
