I was there a number of years back and remember the little sailing vessels with their flat tops. You've captured the atmosphere and mood of the place beautifully, Dympna!

Sunset on Murchison River - Watercolour 26cm x 36cm Arches rough 300gsm. Wet into wet and a limited palette of Cobalt Blue, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and Sepia. From a photo taken on a trip up north in Covid days. Beautiful beaches, lovely river, amazing National Park and a Pink Lake. Grandkids enjoyed sliding down huge sand-hills.
