Thanks Heather, I'm constantly looking for items to add interest and I was pleased with the posts and wall as well. It sort of adds to the feel of pembrokeshire.

The foreground stone wall give dimension Stevan, really like the sky too.

So good Stevan, it has a rugged strength. The cottages look almost venerable against backdrop.....I love the inclusion of the gateposts and walls, especially the way you have faded some of it out. Powerful landscape.

Just had a great holiday in Pembrokeshire and this is one of 3 paintings completed whilst I was there. The location is close to Strumble head, the topography is a key element but the Welsh cottages dotting the landscape and the traditional walls separating the fields are a massive draw to the creative eye.
