A really good painting , you are really good at sketching figure the lady in pink certainly has that, ohh more blxxxx mud attitude in her stance.

Thank you both, I hoped it would bring a smile and I'm pleased the expression was noticed too. Any tips on how I could have made the mud better would be appreciated.

Pen and wash. Struggled to get the look of the quagmire they are looking at but here it is anyway.

I got interested in painting several years ago and am slowly getting to grips with sketching and watercolour, still so much to learn but thoroughly enjoying the experience. I think I enjoy line and wash the best right now but this will likely change, like the weather as I continue to try new ways.
