Stairway to ...

This is really well drawn Denise and you have the perspective right , steps are not the easiest of things to draw , you have managed to get them looking fine.

Good work, Denise - a castle staircase perhaps!

This reminds me of a mindfulness tape Denise. You walk down the staircase to a room you create for yourself. I wonder what might be facing the stairs? They are well drawn and have good perspective which isn’t always easy to achieve.

Thank you Paul, Anne, spencer and Heather for your comments. Your comments particularly about perspective (Paul and Spencer) is music to my ears as I do have a struggle with it. Anne I think it was a castle or some ruins in the Brecon Beacons from a photo my daughter took back in 2016. I like that you found the work mysterious Heather, I think the charcoal adds to the effect and I like the thought of it conjuring up mindfulness Spencer, I wonder what could be there facing the stairs, added value to the piece of art. Thank you once again all.
