Thank you so much for your lovely, kind comments Anne, Coral, Paul, Heather and Carole, they are greatly appreciated. This I think is one of the most delicate sketches I have ever achieved 😀 and Anne, you are quite right, the strawberries that were deliciously sweet and juicy soon disappeared😋😃

I bought some strawberries not only to eat but sketch too, then decided to challenge myself and try a still life, so whipped this cup and tea plate off the side table and this is the result. Pen {ink used is called urban sienna) and wash on watercolour paper.

Couldn't draw, didn't know where to start before 2022 but then have undertaken online course and put in plenty of practise and at least know how to approach things now. Just need to keep up the practise!
