Great sketching Paul.

Well done for keeping to the discipline of sketching daily, and producing interesting sketches.

A rather good quintet of boats here Paul! You’re getting really proficient and they aren’t easy!

As always , your boats are very good, Paul.

A very good group Paul (like that fisherman too!)

Thank you all for your comments , they are appreciated.

Great boats Paul!

Love these boats and particularly they way you’ve portrayed the two figures on the top left sketch, this is something I should do more off. Great work Paul. 👍👍

Great drawing skills Paul

Good sketching Paul and well done to you for doing it every day- I have good intentions but…..!

I like your boats, brilliant as always !

Thank you so much for all your kind comments. Christine I can’t claim to sketching every day as occasionally I miss a day or so ,but I do either paint or sketch each day as much as I can often doing both. I tend to paint in the day preferably morning but lately it’s afternoons and sketch in the evening as I don’t watch television and only read or watch a film occasionally these days .

These are excellent sketches Paul. I should do more boat work, I shy away from technical stuff!

Super boats Dixie, you make it look easy , we know it isn’t!

Good boats Paul, my favourite subject for sketching

Fiona , Tessa and Trevor thank you for your kind and much appreciated comments. Fiona you have all the skills needed to sketch technical thing , proven by your recent maritime sketch, Tessa boats are like anything else you sketch or paint, take time to look at the construction and shapes , similarly with trees understand how they grow and you have the knowledge to do them justice.

Lovely sketching, Paul.

Love these boat sketches. And to be able to do them in 10 minutes!

A lovely collection beautifully sketched!

Many thanks, Linda , Anth , Sandra and Anne.

Good boats and figures Paul.

Fab shapes Paul.

Carole, Ronald and Sylvia thank you for you comments , I always appreciated that you take the time to look and comment .

Great sketches Paul. I especially like the one with the single fisherman.

Pencil sketches of small wooden boats , B2 , 5 and 9 pencils used , roughly ten minutes or less per sketch. Part of my daily sketches that I’m trying to keep up with , sketched I’m my marine sketchbook, I must remember to put some paper under my hand to stop the smudging.

I have sketched most of my life on and off I became interested in watercolour following a spinal injury whilst in hospital but did not follow it up. My eldest daughter bought me a beautiful wooden box set of half pans about twenty five years ago I dabbled on and off until retirement twelve years…
