Time taken was about fifteen minutes or so , like to get them done quickly then I don’t fiddle around.

A really good sketch Paul.

Great sketch Paul.

Valerie for any you for your kind comment. I tried to capture individuality in each of the dockers .

A good sketch Dixie.

Well done Paul, very good sketch.

Super sketch Paul.

Great piece of storytelling

Thank you all for your very nice comments. The actual sketch is a bit darker than the photo and shows the 6 B pencil off nicely. I used to sketch all the time but in recent years watercolour has taken the front seat I should get back into the habit again.

Sketches always best done fast and furious! Nice one, Paul!

A great sketch in 5b pencil Paul, lovely poses, well done!

Thank you Angela and Spencer I appreciate you continuing. Angela I find the 4 to 9 B pencils excellent for sketch’s as they produce a love line that’s soft edged . It was a tip from Sylvia Evens that led ( no pun intended) to using the softer pencils only.
