I love the whole scene, it looks so relaxing. the geese are a lovely touch.

Thank you Denise , you are so kind and do my ego the world of good.

Geese look fine, Dixie, instantly recognisable as Canada Geese! Love the stonework on the farmhouse.

This has a nice, fresh country feeling. I like the trees and the well-drawn buildings too and the geese look fine to me. Good work Paul!

Lovely Dixie.

Thank you Margaret, Anne and Linda you comment are much appreciated. Isn’t it strange how we see a thing we’re not happy with yet others don’t always agree. I am pleased with the major of the painting and I suppose the ruddy goose will grow on me given time.

My favourite part is the rookery Paul, the bare trees with the old nests and the noisy chatter of the rooks. Goes great with the ploughed field and feeding geese. A smashing scene.

This reminds me of France Paul, it’s lovely. Dixy

Thank you Fiona and Gillian for you comments. It’s surprising how many rookeries there are around, I thought I could not do a farm scene without them in the trees.

Nice composition and beautifully painted. Well done.

Thank you Rod for your kind comment, it’s much appreciated.

Lovely work on the buildings.

Bit bigger than a 4, watercolour of a wet field with geese in the late autumn, early winter morning sun. Adapted from a summer photo with the geese add from other references. Bit disappointed with the geese as I made a mistake on one and could not change it, so add two more like the odd numbers.
