French Lavender.

Ilike this painting Paul, the lavender colour is great , but I hope you dont mind me saying Ithink the rows of lavender would possibly benefit from alittle perspective.

Thank you both for your comments. Chris you are quite right about the perspective, I have looked at the painting several time before posting it and knew ,there was something about it I was unhappy with. You hit the spot, I was concentrating on the building so much I missed the obvious.

Very well painted building - I haven't mastered perspective so can't really comment on that element.

Thanks Ceri, what I should have done with the lavender in simple terms is to have tapered it towards the building. By tapering it it would look more like it is going away from the front of the picture, giving depth. It was a basic error, as I was concentrating on the building more.
