Misty Autumn woodland

Comments

"Winter is Coming!" Wonderful Autumn colours to push the dark days further away, lovely.

Lovely autumn colours and birches receding into the mist.

I like that misty feeling in the background Paul and the autumn colours are lovely 👍😀

Lovely misty autumnal colours, really like this

Thank you all for your kind comments they are appreciated. When I said up there I was referring to the Chiltern hills near Aylesbury , where I volunteer as a countryside ranger. Michael. Up there could mean Yorkshire as that’s were I’m from originally , quite a few years sine I was last in the north of the country.

Such elegant silver birches Paul. Love your autumnal palette.

Nice delicate trees Paul, autumn is definitely on its way.

Lovely silver birches Paul.. the autumnal colours make it even more appealing adding the required contrast!

Thank you Carole, Gillian and Nandhini for taking the time to comment. Your comments are much appreciated.

So well done, you've caught the misty feel perfectly.

Ooh, that is lovely, Paul.

Many thanks Lew and Margaret for taking the time to comment, your comments are appreciated a lot. Isn’t it strange and very encouraging how people comment positively about a painting you’re not sure of yourself, but then like most of you I tend to be very critical of my own work.

Nice colouring Paul, leaves are already turning here in Devon, so many opportunities in the next 2 months with colours, sunshine and shadows!!!

Nicely composed and good autumn tones

I like the way the trees and colourful autumnal plants fade into the mist.

Thank you for your king comments .

A4 watercolour of woodland in autumn, used photos taken a year or so ago. Looking forwards to getting back up there to work.
