Lovely Paul, nice to see you have given them a day off.

Nice sketch Paul

Once again - a superb sketch, Paul!!

Love how they look so solid and about to plod along Paul.

Thank you for your lovely comments Denise,George, David and Carole. I’m always amazed at how powerful they look , some times in photos they don’t look quite real , yet they are so gentle and have a very tender nature . They certainly deserve the title of gentle giants.

Beautiful sturdy work horses Paul.

Really, really good sketch Paul

You must get a lot of pleasure doing your great horse sketches Paul.

Carole , Heather and Richard thank you for taking the time to look and comment they are much appreciated. Richard for the first time in a don’t know how long I have found a subject that I have always like but never really tried. It not quite an obsession at the moment, but I do find myself thinking of how to do the next one, simply because I am getting so much pleasure out of sketching , painting and researching heavy horses. I’m sure the bubble will burst and then I will need to find something different.

A lovely sketch of these beautiful, gentle horses, Paul - and they look very relaxed on their day off !

They look very interested in you Paul. They must be enjoying your company!

Wonderful stocky build, lots of power in that muscle. A well earned rest…..great drawing Paul.

Thank you Anne, Jean and Fiona for your kind comments. It’s a bit of a challenge just picking out scenes that I thinks the girls will like and find something to say about each one.

Aww lovely Paul. Beautiful horses 🐎 and having a chill
