Very skilfully rendered ❤️

This is excellent Diana the glass is very good.

You chose an unusual and difficult angle Diana but executed it perfectly.

Great angle Diana, all looks good to me!

Really well painted.

Love the unusual angle Diana and the light, shadows and reflections.

Your water always looks so wet Diana! Lovely painting!

Beautiful painting Diana, love it.

Thank you Eleanor. My weak point is colour mixing. I really struggle to mix the colours I really want. Thanks again Paul. I’m happy with the sharpness though there are areas, particularly in the softer mixes that could be much better. Thank you Val. My Belfast sink is wonderful in the late afternoon light ! Thank you Tessa. I’m going to start work on another piece then look at this with fresh eyes in s few days. Thanks again David. I always appreciate your encouragement. Thank you Carole. The shadows were darker in reality but after painting them, I sponged a lot off because it took away some of the light in the glass when I expected the opposite. That’s a great compliment Linda and just what I hoped to achieve. Thank you Denise. Such motivating feedback. That’s so encouraging David. Thank you for being there again with a lovely compliment

So we’ll done Diana- master of light and glass!

You have totally mastered the art of painting glass Diana. What next? I await eagerly to se.

Another stunner Diana, what more can I say?

Another masterly demonstration of how to paint glass.

Very nicely captured...in watercolour! There was something about the bold lemons that, in the thumbnail, made me think this was perhaps oil. :)

Thank you Christine. I am having another glass phase until something else grabs my attention. Thank you Jim. You’re going to be sick of the sight of it by the time I’ve exhausted this set 😂 Thank you Spencer. I was unsure of the composition here. You reassure me. Thank you Heather. I was surprised at the brilliance of light in this one. Nice surprise! Thank you Lewis. The softer areas are by far the most challenging. Thank you Chris. I agree with you that it has an oils look about the brushwork and looks better from s distance.

I saw this on Instagram, Diana. I said it then and I’ll repeat it again…’you turn the ordinary into the extraordinary’. Such beautiful work.

Thank you Ellen for visiting and leaving a welcome comment twice. Much appreciated

Wonderful watery work !

Thank you Alice. We are certainly experiencing some variety of temperatures here ! This was from the hottest

Half imperial sized watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper. Some of it worked. Some not as I hoped. Plenty more images to try again with! 😂 I worked quite tightly then got looser with s huge Chinese brush I got at Patchings.
