Thank you Carole and Detlev. They were barely recognisable as heads because of the light glowing through them. I had to exaggerate the shadows

I returned to this painting today as there were areas that needed tidying and strengthening. The hands were incredibly difficult! I am happy that it looks finished now without losing its looser areas. 22x17’’ watercolour on Saunders Waterford CP
