I absolutely love your sheep, Diana - but think I prefer the original version, it has a sunnier feel throughout.

Thank you Jenny. I really value your opinion and I see exactly what you mean. I plan to do another more ‘open’ and lighter version

They are equally good. It's a question of preference and taste in this case. It's always tempting to fiddle ....

Great work.

I think I slightly prefer the later version Diana, but it’s a close thing, and I think it’s a question of softness v sharpness. I’d be happy with either! Lovely painting.

How different we all look at things. For me Diana I prefer the lighter version as it shows all the sheep as more inclusive. I know what I mean but it’s difficult to articulate. Super painting and you must be so proud of it.

Both are great Diana I can't decide between the two but very impressive work as always.

Thank you Gudrun. It certainly is! That left side looked cluttered and unbalanced to me. Maybe needed another smaller face on the right. You could go on forever!😄 Thank you Shaun. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me your message Thank you Tessa. I agree with the softness balance and also about losing a bit of the lovely light. Thank you so much Carole for your thoughts and yes, I do see what you mean. Thank you Val for your ongoing support. I do appreciate it.

I am with you Diana it serves to focus the eye into a smaller area making it less busy. However, both versions are excellent and superbly painted.

Good morning Barry and thank you for your thoughts. It’s really interesting to hear people’s views

I think the dark wash on the left sheep de clutters the main heads. Please feel free to disagree and why. I love constructive criticism
