Thank you Willie. I set it up with four apples initially but remembered about using odd numbers. Thank you Jenny. Think I wax a Magpie in another life!! I set the image up and took photos. I should have a go at painting from life as it might speed me up and take away the temptation to over paint. Thank you Sharon. You made me laugh. Thanks John. It's one of those that just turned out better than others. I regularly reach a stage where I have no idea where a painting is going ( insufficient planning) and have to rely on trial and error, particularly in the backgrounds
