I work in watercolours, oils and acrylics, taking inspiration from the changing light on the east coast. Born in the Lake District, I spent my early years in the Peak District, moving to Hull to enjoy my career as an architect. I have entered open exhibitions and had work selected in the Ferens art gallery, Beverley art gallery, Bridlington Artwaves and Scarborough art gallery. I'm a member of Hull Art Circle and enjoy their life drawing classes every Monday evening. I'm also a member of Hull Street Artists who exhibit in the Vintage cafe bar and Leonardos cafe bar in Hull's old town quarter. They also sell work every third Sunday in Queen Street from April to November.
