Yes David, it looks really good, I like the dark sky (or perhaps they are distant trees) behind those lovely light trees, super work.

Thanks very much for those comments. They were distant trees when I painted them, Margaret, but that's the beauty of painting, isn't it? They are just a tone of pigments on paper which the viewer can interpret as they wish.

This week's Tuesday outdoor effort. After a glorious warm weekend, Tuesday was grey with a surprisingly strong cold wind. Adopting my "well, this one's going to be for the bin" attitude I let rip on this group of trees. Their positions on a small hilly rise attracted me as a composition of diagonals, and it turned out better than I expected.
