Thank you all for your kind comments. There are far more haphazard arrangements of sheds and boats along the Blackshore, these are a bit more tidily arranged than most, but they make a strong, simplified composition. I love mixing W&N French Ultramarine with Daniel Smith's Transparent Red Oxide which is a granulating burnt sienna. All the shed walls are painted with these mixes and, on the original, every wall is a different colour and texture, I don't know if this is obvious in the scan.
