Good idea, and I like the colours on this one.

Thank you all for those appreciative comments. The colours are my simple basic 3 colour sketching palette of ultramarine, raw & burnt siennas. Thalia, the computer aspect is quite straightforward, I don't do apps or additional software. I've asked the editor if Leisure Painter mag would be interested in an article on how to do it. If they aren't I may cover it through my blogs on here.

An example of my colour trial method, done by scanning my ink sketch onto computer, printing it on thick cartridge paper, then trying different colour treatments for a subsequent painting. That way the original ink sketch remains unspoilt.
