Thank you all for those encouraging comments. Yes, Spencer, the cottage was large and well equipped but the old radiators struggled to cope with the Scottish spring temperatures !

It's a while since I posted anything, a lot of travelling, not always with sketchbook. Here's a quick pen & wash sketch of our accommodation on the Isle of Arran in April when the weather was very, well, Scottish.
