Thank you all for those positive comments. It felt wrong not placing the building in its setting but there's so much detail in this building I thought the surrounding properties would detract from it.

There are so many shades of old red brick here, I had to simplify. My usual 4 colour pen & wash palette, mostly mixes of burnt sienna with ultramarine, raw sienna and touches of burnt umber.
