Lovely David, a real sense of nature and light

The rock in the bottom left corner, but I can’t see the other one! Lovely painting, David.

Thank you Katy, Yes well done!!!

Yes David I an see both profiles in the bottom two rocks on the left. What a divine place to be. You have captured the majestic beauty of this scene magnificently.

Ah Carole, well done did not spot two on the left rock..........the other is on a distant mountain/hill slope!!!

Thank you Carole

Beautiful light and colours.

Beautiful painting David, the light on the water is lovely. I enjoyed looking for the slope profile!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Carole spotted a third profile on the left foreground rocks which i intended to be ears!!!! The distant profile is on the distant righthand slope, you can see a nose sticking out, an eye indentation and above some hair!!

20" x 16" watercolour. This view is just off the A5 at Llyn Ogwen looking West towards YHA Idwal Cottage, which is at the end of the Llyn (lake). Colours used: Sky- CB, RU, BM, RS, Rest- FU, LR and LY. Some Artist put various shapes or objects in their paintings i.e a mouse. I know of Artists who put a shape like a face in the sky. Some of these are happy accidents. Can you see the profile of two faces in this painting, one profile face is looking at the other!!!
