Thank you all for your lovely comments. Yes Carole, I started learning about watercolour in my mid 40`s and it took me between 5 and 7 years going on many courses with Artists i liked and more importantly who could teach!!! I was lucky and i have a passion for it. I have many happy accidents when painting you can take advantage of. I am self taught, although i thought it might be an advantage to get an A level in it.............wrong!!!!! Go with your heart.

20" x 27" watercolour. We often walked in the Pyrenees in the 16 years we worked and painted there. The main mountain is Pic du Midi and their is an Observatory on the top. A beautiful country.
