Wow, very impressive and atmospheric, David! Beautiful scenery and colours, perfectly executed.

Fabulous atmosphere

Amazing David. Reminds me of David Bellamy’s work.

Nice one David as Carole said it also reminds me a little of Bellamys work. You have given the right air of mystery and focus of the Kitchen, I have done this so many times and quite often in winter, great place to be, nice one.

Definitely the Bellamy look to it, this is beautifully painted.

Hi Everyone, Thank you for your kind comments, it is always helpful, what ever your standard of painting. You can walk around the lake and if you are fit enough, up the Devils Kitchen and onto Tryfan. Yes i have known David and Jenny for many years and in my formative years attended a few courses, as i did with other experienced professional Artists. David taught me how to get atmosphere into my work, where as the late Bob Kilvert taught me about the chemistry and physics of the medium. Snowdonia was my backyard for 20 years, so i know it well. I will be putting many more paintings up on the site from our travels. My wife Liz ( Elizabeth Marsden-King) will also be putting her work up as well in the next couple of weeks. I hope both of our work gives you pleasure. Happy painting Dave

Excellent work

You've captured the scale and atmosphere of the scene beautifully. An excellent piece.
