A sparkling watercolour.

Congrats David, watercolours tend not to sit well against oil, unless of course they are full of arial perspective as this is. Like it

What a great sense of light - a beauty David

Love the mistiness in the background and the shimmering water David. Such an inviting scene.

It has that early morning mist to it that you have caught so well in this painting David, lovely and light!!

A beautiful watercolour and I like the glimpse of the river meandering away in the distance.

Gorgeous colours.

Thank you every one for your very kind comments. Did anybody spot the little bear sitting in the water under the middle arch of the bridge!!!!!

Many congratulations, David. It really is a beauty!

A lovely peaceful scene with great washes and colours David. I cannot see the Bear though!

The teddy Bear is through the right hand arch in the distance, sitting in the water looking towards the Abbey. Legs, arms bent and half a head. Its the trees in the distance overhanging the river.

This is a really nice watercolour David, everything about it works so well from the subject matter, the overall composition , and colours selected. The Arial perspective is spot on , like it a lot .

such beautiful watercolor landscapes! This one is very fine. Well done!

Thank you so much Graham and Dominique

20" x 16" Watercolour. This painting was done for a Fine Art Exhibition(open) and was picked as 1st prize. Really surprised as we found in our area of France the predominant media is oil. There were a few French artists in our area doing watercolour
