This is a fabulous painting - a moment caught, really good, I like it as it is

I love it as it stands, has great impact with the cattle looking like they are in the dust the same with the dog.

It’s great Judith, the Only hint I might make if you do give another go is to knock the building back a bit by reducing the colour so that it more closely matches the sheep, but hey what do I know it looks fine as it is.

Thank you Heather, Paul, Barry and Christine. The shed did closely match the sheep but I thought it looked lost however perhaps I should have darkened the tone instead of introducing a warmer colour there.

Fantastic painting Judith and I agree with Paul.

Another composite of images sent to my by my horse-riding sister of a work sheep farm in the central North Island Plateau. I was happy with my composition but not sure I'm so pleased with the painting effort. As I have more or less completed it, did not submit to work in progress but it is a composition that I might return to and have another go at. Any handy hints much appreciated. I've been staring at it for too long!
