Superb watercolour Judith, lovely and loose, wish i could achieve this type of image. I well know once you have painted the main image and then its hold your breath when you put the shadow in!!!!

Based on another photo from our time in Naples a couple of years ago. Wet in wet and trying to get the shadow laid down in one wash. A few blobs and backruns resulted but overall I got the effect I wanted which was not to let myself colour it in and be bamboozled by all the detail.
