A commissioned piece that I completed on a full size sheet. It was based on a photo which was mostly a great expanse of water with the backdrop of the mountains and the client's wife in the rowboat, this being the area where her family had owned a holiday bach for many years. It took a wee while to complete. I made the mountains more of a feature than they actually were in the photo and changed the time of day.
