Another result I’m very pleased with, using a Hake brush and another of Steven Coates brilliantly explained tutorials from his excellent The Watercolour Enigma. He gives very good warning tips about detail and did say that I needed to be careful about painting birds in flight and to beware of creating Pterodactyl’s by practicing on spare paper. This I did but over egged it on the painting an ended up with the odd pidgeon instead of intended gulls. You live and learn eh!
