My first ever try at portraiture. Followed Shelagh Ashley's demonstration in Decembers Leisure Painter. Think I made her eyes to big and her ears too high. But it was a great lesson in trying something way out of my comfort zone. I was inspired to try this after watching an episode of Portrait artist of the year on Sky Arts TV. My apologies to the real Lauren.
