Fichter Spitz, Karwendel, Tirol, Austria. Watercolour 50x50cm on Arches 300g rough. I painted this late afternoon winter scene with 5 colors only. For the sky I used Naples Yellow, Light Red (LR), French Ultramarine (FU) and Perylene Maroon. The snow covered trees I mainly painted with FU and LR and in some places I used FU and Burnt Umber for the darkest darks.
