Superb watercolour Christofgood feeling of depth, with the strong tones of the foreground building contrasting with the lighter, looser work across the water.

Beautifully composed and rendered, highly atmospheric and full of spontaneity.

76x56cm, watercolour on Arches rough, 300g. From the Campanile there is a stunning view down to the Canale della Giudecca with all the boats and „Vaporetti“ crossing in all directions and the Dorsoduro with Santa Maria della Salute in the back. I treid to capture this amazing scene with the impressive cuppola and the sculptures in the front with a limited palette and strong contrast in tonal values. Hope you like my approach.
