Your approach is working Chrissie and I love your palette in both paintings, it’s very harmonious. I also like the use of the dark outlines in and around the painting.....in this one, in the trees. Where abouts in the highlands did you visit?

Oil on panel 16x12inches framed. This is based on a recent trip to the Scottish Highlands. I have visited this particular area many times - it is a constant source of inspiration for me.
