Acrylic on canvas 70x70cms 28x28 inches This painting shows a small part of a lake at Bodnant on Anglesey. I didn’t have the opportunity to sketch when I was there but instead took a few photos of the water and a small amount of the opposite bank. I have enjoyed experimenting with getting to grips with a method of painting this subject. Not least using this particular set of colours - dramatically different from the real thing,
